hAB-icon (Pty) Ltd was established early 2020 and the first contract started February 2020.
Both the directors (shareholders) were formerly employed by a multi-faceted construction company, specialising in high-end residential, heritage restoration and commercial/industrial construction. Andre Dempers held the position of director for 12 years, and Bernard Wessels held the position of Senior site coordinator for 8 years.
Our ability to manage various types of contracts is evident in the successful completion of all previous building contracts. Our on-site teams are well educated and presentable and have vast experience of on-site operation and execution of all trades.
We provide a full construction service that includes, but not limited to the following:
- Full project management and coordination of all trades
- Coordination between contractors and principal agent
- Quality control of all subcontractors and trades
- Programming of the works as a whole
- Application of OHS act and notification to Department of labour
- Permanent foreman on site
- Permanent OHS representative on site
- Insurances as required by JBCC contract
- Handover up to final completion (including all COC certificates).
- Variable construction guarantee as per JBCC contract
- Detailed monthly claims and final accounts
